China’s e-commerce giant Jingdong rolled out an upgraded version of its online invoice in Shaanxi on Dec 22.

The adoption of electronic invoices can help enterprises cut costs and benefit the environment, in addition to offering convenience to customers by allowing them to check their invoices online. It also increase the efficiency of government tax departments by reducing the amount of manpower needed for invoice management.

Jingdong set up its Northwest Operation Center at the Xi’an International Trade and Logistics Park in March 2014. The center handles business in Shaanxi, Qinghai and Gansu provinces, as well as in the Ningxia Hui and Xinjiang Uygur autonomous regions.
