The Xi’an International Trade and Logistics Park has taken a series of measures against the heat wave and droughts that have afflicted the city recently.

The Park has re-scheduled watering times for plants in the park to earlier in the morning and later in the evening to avoid the midday heat, and has assigned individuals to specific areas to reduce water wastage.

More than 20 sprinklers have been deployed, which will cover 2.6 million square meters of green areas to alleviate dry areas.

The park has also strengthened its pest control and prevention measures to ensure that the plants grow healthily.

Regular inspections are conducted to remove dead trees promptly so that a replanting plan can be put in place for autumn.
