Updated: 2018-10-11

Xi'an International Trade and Logistics (ITL) Park held China's first Farmers Harvest Festival on Oct 10, attracting more than 300 farmers.

The harvest festival, launched by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, coincided with the autumnal equinox, one of the 24 solar terms of the Chinese lunar calendar.

The event kicked off with a lively drum dance entitled Nao Fengshou. A drum dance named Nao Fengshou kicked off ITL Park's celebration activity of China's first Farmers Harvest Festival.

The park's farmers were truly the stars of the show, writing, directing and starring in a variety of performances, including opera, cross talk, and song and dance.

The event demonstrated ITL Park's achievements in new rural construction and rural grassroots spiritual civilization construction while also giving full play to the park's role as a land port.

In the future, ITL Park plans to use the Farmers Harvest Festival to increase awareness and understanding of agriculture, rural life and farmers.
