The new vehicles are 12 meters long, have 34 seats and can carry a maximum of 87 people. The upper and lower parking spaces adopt a first-step low-entry structure, and the front and rear doors are 0.15 meters wider than ordinary buses, making it easier for passengers to get on and off.

In addition, each emergency exit glass is equipped with a one-button automatic safety glass breaker. If an emergency occurs, the driver can quickly break the glass at all the emergency exits at the push of a button.

The 300 vehicles adopt DC charging mode. In fast charging mode, each bus takes 1.5 hours to fully charge. In slow charging mode, each car takes 2.5 hours and has a range of 280 kilometers.

Before the end of the year, the number of electric buses in Xi'an will reach 3,650, accounting for 52 percent of the total number of buses in Xi'an.
