ITL Park’s women fight virus

Updated: 2020-02-07

In face of the novel coronavirus outbreak, female workers at Xi'an International Trade and Logistics (ITL) Park insisted on working, adhering to the mission and resolute determination of Party members -- and showing their patience, tolerance and kindness.

From New Year's Eve to the present, Huang never returned home. She could only say "Happy Birthday" to her parent on the phone. Because of wearing protective clothing, she only makes voice calls to her parent.

Waking up at 7 am every day, Huang goes out to communities to record and investigate the situation of people living in isolation at home.

Every day, Huang and her colleagues head off to the homes of people who returned from Hubei province, as well as to visit patients in hospitals. They carefully track people under isolation and check on close contacts of the infected.

The public health management service center is the core unit in the park's epidemic prevention and control headquarters.

Among the center's team of 10 who are fighting the virus with 10 members are eight female workers.
